I’m Jenny Marx, and I’ve been a nail technician for 30 years. About 20 of those years have been spent at Ascension Spa. I hold CND and OPI training and certification, and I take great pleasure in making my clients happy. I’m a very patient person both at work and at home, and I also love both cooking and eating good food. I enjoy traveling and spending time with friends.

Nothing gives me greater joy than when a client is excited about her hair and says she has found someone who truly listens to what she wants! I LOVE styling a client's hair in a way that complements her face and makes her feel beautiful. Having worked as a stylist for over 35 years, I have never lost my passion for what I do. I enjoy continuing to learn and continually develop new skills. I regularly train, not only in our salon but also at other venues; I have recently trained in New York.

That's what Michelle is all about. Michelle graduated from Annapolis Beauty Academy in 1989. After working in many of Annapolis' name salons for over 30 years, Michelle joined the team at Ascension to continue cultivating her talent. Her mastery of highlighting techniques and penchant for working with short hair has led to a devoted clientele following. While walk-ins are always welcome, guarantee your slot in Michelle's schedule by calling and making an appointment. Hello, my name is Donna, and I'd like to tell you a little bit about myself. The most important thing to know about me is my relationship with my clients. Yes, I have 30 years of experience in hairstyling; yes, I continue to receive extensive training in all aspects of hair design; and yes, I am an Elite team member for Eufora and have a love for the plant-based, healthy for hair, body & environment products. However, the most important and enjoyable part of my job is my client base. I love what I do because my clients reward me every day with their enthusiasm for trying something new and different and their appreciation and joy when they take that final look in the mirror. Having clients return month after month for many years gives me satisfaction in knowing that I have not only the expertise for hair styling, but also THE creativity and vision for each INDIVIDUAL'S life style.

Being a hairdresser for over 30 years has been my passion and privilege. There is nothing more gratifying, as a hair designer, than having my guests look in the mirror, smile, and know that I play a part in them feeling good about themselves. I believe you never stop learning or creating something new. Every guest is a new opportunity to be creative and get to know them on a more personal level.I continue to go to classes. Always looking for something new to apply behind the chair. Whether it be classic lines or edgy spikes. Color techniques, men's hair designs, formal styling for those special occasions, or fun braids for your little girl it is always tailored for you!

I love being behind the chair and in the hair! Seeing the magical transformation that occurs and being the reason for my guests' smiles fills my heart with immense happiness and is the most rewarding part of my job.

I graduated from The Temple of Annapolis, a Paul Mitchell school, back in 2017. While still in school, I was at the top of my class for my services and my retail knowledge.

I am creative, versatile, and passionate about my craft. As a hairstylist, I pride myself on my skills, not only with hair but with ongoing education and classes to ensure the best results for my clients. I also inform my guests on product knowledge for best at-home care.

My specialties are highlights, lowlights, color, color correction, balayage/ombre, waxing, color balancing, blonding, hair cutting, and extensions.

When I'm not behind the chair with my guests, I can be found spending time with my husband, son, and our two little fur babies---often playing video games or in a great book.

I have always had a passion for creativity, and I am never afraid to think outside the box. I work hard to improve my craft and to achieve what is best for my guests.
